MEET OUR NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Sudan Health Center is pleased to introduce our new Executive Director, Rev. Bernard O. Suwa. This appointment follows the election of the Rev. Anthony Poggo to the office of a Bishop in the Diocese of Kajokeji in Southern Sudan. The Rev. Bernard assumed his new post as Sudan Health Center Executive Director from 1st December, 2007. |

Bernard is a Sudanese National who has been living in Australia for the last seven years. Bernard holds a Masters degree in Publishing Studies, from the University of Stirling, in Scotland, a BA in Communications and Christian Ministries, from Daystar University, Nairobi Kenya; and is due to complete his PhD from the University of Western Sydney, in the first quarter of 2008.
Bernard previously served at Sudan Health Center in the Sudan Literature Centre (SLC) as an Editor & Church Relations person between 1990 and 1996. He has also worked with the Christian Learning Materials Centre in Karen as their Editorial Director and later with the Wycliffe Bible Translators in various capacities. Before his appointment, Bernard was an Associate Minister at the Sydney Anglican Diocese in Australia. He is married with four children.
The Board of Sudan Health Center welcomes Bernard to the Sudan Health Center family and together we pledge to take the organisation into a new chapter of service to the church and the people of Sudan.
